- Well, this weekend I heard back from my insurance company. They sent a claims adjuster out to look at my car, and apparently they're considering it a total loss. Now, some people might be glad to have their car deemed a total, but for me, it's about the worst possible outcome of this whole fiasco.

- Someone once said that given enough time, eventually any form of entertainment will evolve to the point that it becomes a parody of itself (and if someone didn't, consider this me officially calling dibs). You may choose to disagree, but I would argue that country music never had that far to go in the first place.
