Yes, I am bad. I started blogging in the hope of providing insightful, informative commentary to the world at large. Instead, I shirk and procrastinate and lose focus and just plain forget. I feel slightly vindicated, though, in knowing I'm not the only one that does this.
So, a recap: Work at URMC has been great. As I’d hoped on being hired, I’m really making a push for semantic, valid code and accessibility. The scope of projects here is vastly huge, so I’ll never be able to cover everything, but we’re making strides.
In other professional news, I’ve been working to update the Groove Juice website (particularly since our group is expanding into Ithaca) and keeping it simpler/more streamlined. I’ve also been on the team planning the next implementation of Yehoodi, and things are going well there.
Married life is great so far. We’ve been very slow to get our wedding pictures ordered and printed, however.
Dance-wise, I am in a funk. A bad one. I hope this weekend’s Steven & Virginie workshop can help pull me out, because this is the worst I’ve ever felt about myself dance-wise.
Also, I just want to say, hang in there Writers Guild!
