On Friday night Sarah and I visted Lollypop Farm and adopted a new, sweet kitten. We saw a few different cats at first that we might like, but the first that we actually selected for a "Meet and Greet" was an adorable black male that was listed as a Staff Favorite.

His name given at the shelter was Fry. They called him that because he was found with his siblings in a dumpster outside of a McDonald’s, munching on discarded french fries. As soon as we met him we knew right away that we wanted him to come home with us.
We’ve had two full days with him now and couldn’t be happier with our decision. He is very affectionate, and also playful with a slight mischievous streak—a perfect mix for a kitten! Whenever one of us leaves the room he simply has to see where we’re going, and when we’re on the couch he loves to lay with us and watch TV. Each morning he greets us with such exuberant affection, jumping up to rub his head against our hands, and grasping our fingers to give them a good licking.
So far he loves his toys and scratch pads, but unfortunately he also loves climbing into the sink, kneading the carpet, and jumping into the toilet face-first when we open it to dispose of his (flushable) litter clumps. But right now we are simply overjoyed at the opportunity to give this lovable little guy a new home!
We’re calling him Jor-El for now, which believe it or not was Sarah’s idea. There’s just something… Kryptonian about him.
Jor-El? Everyone knows that the Super-Cat was named Streaky
